This morning I noticed a link on Google’s home page reading, “change background image.” The link has probably been there for a decade, but notice I did not! Google allows you to change the background just like you would for you computer’s desktop.
I recently discovered some free beautiful wallpapers from Frankie.com.au, and well, I couldn’t resist pimping my Google search page.
Instructions:
① Download a digital wallpaper from Frankie here. (Click on “Download this Wallpaper” for your chosen design, then click on the file name to the right of the image. This should end up in your downloads folder. It may also open up in a preview when it downloads; so if you don’t know where your files saves, save it now to somewhere you can find it.)
② Click on “Change background image” found at the bottom left-hand corner.
③ At this point you can select what source you want your image from. Choose “From your computer” then “choose file” to get the Frankie wallpaper.
④ Locate the wallpaper file and select “Choose”.
⑤ Select upload and your work is done!
Frankie has a set of 6 pretty wallpapers for the taking. See them all here.
