Last week we started to take the children down to the stream to have a paddle. It was a hot day and we just needed to get out of the bamboo hut. Well we loved it. The stream is gentle enough for the babies to sit in the shallow parts among the rocks – only problem is they love to eat them! We’ve been down there more since then because of muddy water coming through the pipes at the hut and babies with fevers.
This is one of my favourite photos I’ve taken. I plan to get a frame that holds multiple photos and put a nice collection together so I don’t forget my time here.
Talitha loves the water. Not in an excited way, but in a calming way. She is a sickly baby who started life abandoned, pre-mature and with an infection (but blessed to have a twin brother), so it’s nice to see her just be at peace and calm.
Mark also loves the water. But in a more excited, want-to-do-backflips kind of way
