Perpetual Giveaway Time!

——- Giveaway Has Closed ——-

SPW perpetual giveaway

Since SPW started 7 months ago, I have received such an overwhelming amount of support from visitors like yourself, which means I’ve been able to generate a tiny bit of cash on the side. Unfortunately not enough to quite my day job (even for a day), but enough to host a monthly giveaway!

The first prize will be the winning item selected from the month before (This month I selected the donkey memo holder to get the ball rolling (as seen in this post))! The second prize will be a $Gift Card$ to use at Amazon.com - ching ching!

All you have to do to win one or both of these prizes is to go window shopping on Amazon.com and show me your favourite item in the selected category within the given budget.

Prize one (the donkey) will go to a random recipient, and prize two (Amazon gift card) will go to the person who shares a product that makes me think – hey cool!!

Whoever selects a product that gets me the most excited will win a gift voucher to go shopping on Amazon.com, and the next month a random winner will be chosen from new entries to win that product! (that’s the perpetual part!)

a gift for your love - shopping theme

TO ENTER: In a nutshell

① Go to Amazon.com and find a product for $30USD or less that you would buy for your special someone <3

② Come back to SPW and comment on a post with a link to your favourite product (& share why).

③ Make sure you leave your email so I can get in touch with you if you’re the winner, and your first name with the initial of your last name.

Entries will not be counted past 10pm (PST) 5th of Feb 2012.

The winner will be announced on the 6th of February on SPW and my Facebook Page!

The fine print can be found here. Read it if your a stickler for rules, and if you’re an entrant from outside of the USA.

My love and I share a deep enthusiasm for the natural world, and a deep affinity for our close cousins in the wild – gorillas, chimpanzees, bonobos, and orangutans. So a perfect present for him would be this book, a retrospective of Jane Goodall’s fifty years in the field, working with and studying chimpanzees: http://www.amazon.com/Jane-Goodall-50-Years-Gombe/dp/B004X8W72O/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1327266371&sr=8-6

I’ve wanted to give On Writing, by Stephen King to the man I love (though I’m no longer in a relationship with him) because he has always wanted to write a novel. I can’t help but think that reading what Mr King has to say on the topic would tip the balance, as it were, and give him the impetus necessary to realize his dream.

Since my boyfriend is British and we are currently separated by the Atlantic Ocean, our constant pranking has (surprisingly) reached an all-time high. Recently I enlisted my dad, his mom, and a couple friends to convince him I was in London, basically getting him to run all over the city for a few hours. I feel pretty bad about that one, though, thinking how I’d feel afterward in that position, and I have the perfect way to make it up to him! He’s an actor, and living on his own for the first time without me or his mom, bless him, so I’m going to send him this Shakespeare Love Quotations mug: http://www.amazon.com/The-Unemployed-Philosophers-Guild-SHAKESPEARE/dp/B005M46W3I/ref=sr_1_64?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1328234918&sr=1-64

My boyfriend writes Trock (time-lord rock) songs, and the first one he ever wrote was called “Bows tie are cool”. It’s always the one I’ve loved most, and demanded to be played live to me time and time again, so I imagine that this awesome magnet would make a regular appearence on his guitar while he serenaded me with songs about Slitheens, Cybermen, and Scaro.
